The Cloudstory CoralReef XXII gives a second life to ocean-recovered plastic waste in a frame that transforms marine pollution into a product of genuine beauty and quality. Each frame is produced from a blend of 85% ocean-recovered HDPE and PP plastics, collected and processed by certified coastal cleanup operations across Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines, with the remaining 15% being virgin nylon added for structural consistency. The ocean plastic feedstock undergoes a proprietary purification process — shredding, density separation, contaminant washing, and re-pelletizing — before injection molding into frames that exhibit no brittleness, odor, or color inconsistency despite the heterogeneous source material. A batch certification number on the inner temple traces each frame to its source cleanup batch, providing complete supply chain transparency. The natural color variation in ocean plastic creates subtle marbling patterns within the frame material that make each pair subtly unique. Polarized TAC lenses reduce ocean-surface glare, making this frame particularly suitable for coastal recreation activities. UV400 protection.
