The Cloudstory StreetKid XI draws inspiration from the iconic half-rim browline designs of the 1950s, reinterpreted through contemporary materials and precision manufacturing for a frame that bridges vintage charm and modern durability. The upper rim is crafted from 4.5 mm solid cellulose acetate in a semi-gloss finish, available in four classic colorways including tortoise brown, solid black, transparent crystal, and burgundy wine. The lower rim and nose bridge are constructed from spring-tempered stainless steel wire, creating the characteristic exposed-lens lower half that defines the browline aesthetic. The wire lower rim is PVD-coated in matching gold or gunmetal tones to complement each acetate colorway. CR-39 lenses are ground to an optical precision of ±0.06 diopters and receive UV400 treatment through a molecular diffusion process rather than surface coating, ensuring UV protection cannot be scratched or worn away. An anti-reflective inner coat eliminates the ghost images that plague uncoated lenses in high-contrast lighting.
