The Cloudstory SunBlock XXIV is precision-engineered for the daily driver who spends significant time behind the wheel, addressing the three primary visual hazards of driving — direct sun glare, road surface reflection, and instrument panel backscatter — through a coordinated optical system rather than a simple tinted lens. The vertically aligned polarization filter eliminates 99.9% of horizontally reflected glare from wet road surfaces, hoods, and other vehicles. The copper-tinted lens base increases contrast between road markings, traffic signals, and sky background — a well-documented effect of the 580 nm copper wavelength transmission band that has been used in aviation and truck driving eyewear for decades. An interior anti-reflective coating prevents dashboard reflections from entering the visual field through the rear lens surface. The lens curvature is precisely matched to the standard driver seating position, placing the optical center at the typical horizon gaze angle during highway driving. The medium-fit acetate frame sits higher on the face than casual fashion frames, elevating the lens into alignment with the rearview mirror viewing position. A low-light amber clip-on is included for night driving transition. UV400 certified.
